Chief Heavy Equipment Mechanic
Job Description
The Senior Heavy Equipment Mechanic is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all heavy equipment of the company. This role involves diagnosing mechanical issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that all heavy equipment is operational and safe, The Senior Heavy Equipment Mechanic will also oversee a tea of mechanics and ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards.
Qualifications:

- Graduate of any 4-year course, preferably related in Automotive Mechanic or any related course.
- Previous experience in motor pool, transportation, or logistics management preferably with 5 to 10 years of work experience.
- Experience in roles such as senior mechanic or similar is beneficial.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems in vehicles
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively supervise and motivate a team of mechanics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose complex mechanical issues and develop effective repair strategies.
- The ability to lift heavy objects, bend and stoop, and work in various positions for extended periods.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
