The Enertech Classic 3-Pass Wet Back Package Fire Tube Boiler is a high performance boiler unit with design parameters based on the generously built top of the line US boilers, suitable for firing bunker C oil, Diesel oil, LPG or Natural Gas. It is available in capacities from 60 to 1500 boiler horsepower (940 to 23,500 kg/h), with operating pressures of up to 270 psig (18.63 Bars). This unit is ideal for large factories where steam cost is a critical issue.
HIGH EFFICIENCY, LOW COST OPERATION – The Enertech CLASSIC 3-Pass Wet-back Boiler is highly efficient, attaining therminal efficiencies of up to 93% at MCR when firing heavy oil (based on net calorific value of fuel). The 3-Pass wet-back design combined with a generous heating surface of 5 square feet per boiler horsepower, and highly efficient full modulation, air/stream atomized burner with 5:1 turn down, enables the unit’s very high efficiencies. This is evident through the unit’s very low exit gas temperature. This translates to large savings in fuel cost.
FULLY AUTOMATIC OPERATION – Fully automatic controls are provided for continuous operation with minimal attendance. The burner has full modulation control which matches the firing rate with load demand. The water level in the boiler is controlled by float type water level controller automatically controls the operation of the feedwater pump and acts as the first low water cut-off/alarm, shutting down the burner in the event of a low water condition due to failure of the feed water pump or excessive withdrawal of steam. A back-up probe-type low water cut-off is standard to assure positive protection of the boiler. The operating pressure is controlled by two pressure controllers: one controls the burner on/off based on the high and low operating limits, and the other acts as modulating control to adjust firing rate based on steam demand.
SAFE OPERATIONS – A “Fail-Safe” Control which exceed trim and accessory requirements of ASME Code, has been integrated into the combustion system for total operational safety. The micro-processor-based integrated burner control provides automatic burner sequencing and flame supervision for a safe burner light off and shutdown. Furthermore, the burner control provides status indication and self diagnostics through a keyboard display module. The burner shuts down automatically in the event of flame failure, draft loss, low water and excessive steam pressure. Sufficiently sized safety valves are provided to relieve pressure in case of over pressure.
