The ambitious government spending on infrastructure and public works projects has initiated the Philippine industrial boom, leading the country towards economic prosperity in the 1970’s. During this era, foreign companies dominated the Philippine boiler industry. American, Japanese and European boiler brands has set up sales and dealership offices in the country causing an influx of imported boilers installed in Philippine factories, hospitals, universities and hotels.

The shortage of legitimate Filipino boiler supplier and manufacturer has ignited a young engineer’s entrepreneurship spirit! He envisioned establishing a 100% Filipino-owned company that can compete with the foreign boiler giants, utilizing the talents, strong determination, and excellent innovative skills of local engineers.

Enertech Systems Industries Incorporated was established in 1978. It was founded by Engineer Guillermo C. Simeon who capitalized on his expertise in the design and fabrication of pressure vessel boilers gained from his international training and exposure from Bobcok and Wilcox, USA, Combustion Engineering Inc. and Bailey Controls.

Through his leadership, he was able to expand the organization into a complete supply chain engineering firm specializing in the design and fabrication of mechanical steel products.

Enertech provides EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) services, as well as Operations and Maintenance, Service and Spare Parts Trading of Boiler Systems, and its auxiliaries to various industries.

For 40 years, Enertech has established its reputation as the Philippine’s “Boiler Technology People.” The Enertech boiler system has proven its dominance in the Philippine Market and is accepted and endorsed in the international market. There are more than 2000 boiler units installed all over the Philippines, as well as exported throughout Asia, Papua New Guinea, the Middle East and Australia.

Every Enertech product maintains exceptional world-class quality. Its impressive list of diverse sectoral clientele includes industry leaders: San Miguel Corporation, Universal Robina Corporation, Jollibee, Coca Cola, Pepsi Cola, Shangri-la, Unilab, Uniliver, Mondelez to name a few. Their continuous patronage is a testament to the reliability and performance of the Enertech Products.

Enertech is the pioneer in multiple technical breakthroughs showcasing the ingenuity of the Filipino Engineer and skilled workforce. In 1982, Enertech introduced its first Biomass Boiler. The “Enertech Type H Waste Heat Boiler.” This Filipino designed boiler utilized readily available biomass feed from multiple Philippine agricultural wastes. The use of Biomass boiler provided immediate operational savings from the escalating price of traditional fossil fuel – diesel and bunker oil.

Through continuous innovation, an upgraded version of the Enertech Type H boiler was introduced in 1989. The Enertech Combination Biomass Boiler, a combination of a fire tube and water tube boiler, has a water wall furnace operating with multiple biomass fuel feed utilizing a more advanced material handling system, increasing the boiler combustion efficiency.

In 1991, it developed and built a 3-Pass Wet Back Design for oil fired boiler, a unique design that highlights higher efficiency at lower maintenance cost. In 2000, it introduced full automation for its Biomass Fired Boilers with its state of the art Brain ++ Boiler Automation technology using a touch screen in the boiler control room. In 2006, it developed a Multiple Combustor with a Reciprocating Grate, suitable for burning Biomass Fuel and Coal.

In 2014, Enertech ventured into a Technical Collaboration with the EckRohr Kessel of Germany through a Licensing Agreement, giving Enertech access to the German Technology in the design of Water tube Coilers. This paved the way to the design and fabrication of the 35TPH Enertech ERK Boiler using Palm Kernell as biomass feed fuel. The ERK Boiler is installed in a co-generation facility for palm oil processing and 3MW Power Generation.

Enertech’s commitment in providing solution to its clients opened another business division for the company in 2014, with the creation of the Steam Outsourcing Unit handling the Build Operate and Transfer; Boiler Rental and the Operation and Maintenance Contracts.

To date, Enertech Systems Industries Incorporated has 350 employees consisting of engineers: mechanical, industrial, chemical, electrical and IT; accountants and office staff; and highly skilled workforce: technicians, welders, construction labor etc.

The Enertech Global Plant is nestled in a 3-hectare company-owned facility in Marilao, Bulacan. It is equipped with state of the art machineries capable of producing up to 500 MT/month of fabricated steel output capacity. Its wide range of product line covers the boiler system, as well as other pressurized vessels, tankages and material handling systems.

Enertech is recognized by the Department of Energy as a Renewable Energy Equipment Manufacturer and is certified by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers for the following stamps: (a) The National Board of Boiler & Pressure Vessel Inspectors “R” Stamp – Metallic Repairs and Alterations at Shop and Filed Locations; (b) ASME “U” Stamp – Manufacture and Assembly of Pressure Vessels; (c) ASME “S” Stamp – Manufacture and Assembly of Power Boilers’ (d) ASME “PP” Stamp – Fabrication and Assembly of Pressure Piping and (e) ASME “A” Stamp – Assembly of power boilers.
